This will be our bedroom – we’re hoping to use the space under the eaves as cupboards. We’re so relieved that we managed to speak to the architect in time to stop it being just boxed in with no access.
It will be an extra cost but we think it will be worth it as it’s not just cupboards, it’s extra space that would otherwise be lost. When we especially consider the price per square metre of the build it’s a bargain!
On the photo you can see the triangle of red brickwork where the original roof of the downstairs bathroom used to be attached to the main house.
The photo below is the other side, which will be our daughter’s bedroom. We’re hoping to turn the bit in the eaves on this side into a secret passageway/toy tunnel for her.
