We sourced many fixtures and fittings second-hand to be as environmentally friendly as possible.

Where we bought new we tried to buy products that met the following criteria

  • Low energy consumption in use
  • Durable – likely to last
  • Made from recycled materials
  • Non-toxic
  • Recyclable/compostable (eventually when no longer needed)
  • Best value (to stretch the  budget as far as possible)
